Renovations and Additions

Some of the best lots in the Valley already have a house on them. When the location is right and the house isn’t, we keep what’s worth keeping and rebuild the rest to the same standard as our new construction.

  • Whole home remodels
  • Additions and new floor plans
  • Kitchens, primary suites and outdoor living
  • Structural and systems upgrades

How a Build Works

Building on your own land is a long relationship. Here’s how it goes and what you can expect from us along the way.

  1. 1

    Walk the Site

We meet you on the property before anything is drawn or priced. We look at orientation, grade, drainage, setbacks and views, so any problems come up early, before you’ve spent money on design.

  2. 2

    Design and Budget

Architecture and interiors are developed together and priced as they go. The budget updates right alongside the design, so what you approve is what it costs.

  3. 3

    Construction

One superintendent runs your site from grading through the punch list. You get weekly updates on schedule and budget and a direct line to the person running the job.

  4. 4

    Handover

We walk the finished home with you, hand over documentation for every system and finish, and stand behind our workmanship for two years after you move in.

Culture and Commitment

The Impact
Ways

Being a great builder is about more than the buildings we leave behind. It is about the impact we make along the way.

  1. 01

    Impact Lives

We build spaces that positively shape the way people live, work, gather and experience life.

  2. 02

    Impact Our Community

We give back, stay involved, and leave the communities where we live and build better than we found them.

  3. 03

    Impact Our Team

We create opportunities for our teammates to grow, succeed, provide for their families and build great lives. We win together.

  4. 04

    Impact Our Clients

We treat our clients’ projects, money and trust like our own. We communicate openly, solve problems and deliver work we are proud to stand behind.

  5. 05

    Impact Our Industry

We raise the standard for builders through integrity, accountability, collaboration, craftsmanship and the way we treat people.

Built to Impact is not just what we build. It is how we build, and the impact we leave behind.

About Impact Build

Impact Build is led by Vicente Terán, the qualifying party on our Arizona contractor license. We keep the number of projects we take on each year small on purpose, so he can stay involved in every one of them.

Every site gets its own superintendent and weekly reporting, and you work directly with the people building your home.

Questions
We Get a Lot

Do you build on land I already own?

Yes, that’s what we do. You own the land or the house, and we build under contract to you.

Will you work from my architect’s plans?

Yes. We like having design and construction under one roof because details don’t get lost, but we build from outside drawings regularly and work well with other design teams.

How long does a custom home take?

Most new builds take 14 to 20 months from permit to move in, depending on the site and the design. Renovations vary a lot more, so we give you a real schedule after we’ve walked the property.

What does it cost per square foot?

We can’t give you an honest number before seeing the site. Cost depends on location, size, site conditions, structure and finishes. After a walkthrough we put together a detailed budget you can actually plan around.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Impact Build LLC holds Arizona ROC license 360256, a KB‑1 Dual Building Contractor license covering residential and commercial work, with Vicente Terán as qualifying party.

What areas do you work in?

Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Phoenix. If your property is somewhere else in the Valley, reach out anyway.

Tell Us About Your Project

Send us the location and what you have in mind. Vicente reads every inquiry himself and usually replies within one business day.
